Despite an apparent trend for celebrities to show of their “real” bodies or go au natural for cover shoots, the poster for Sex and the City 2 has been retouched to such an extent that the stars look younger than they did in the movie’s predecessor.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are all over the age of 40, but not one appears to have a single wrinkle.

Fans of the poster have blasted the image, claiming the stars appear “wax-like” and “virtually unrecognisable”.
