The Canon Pixma MP250 has been promoted as one of the best all in one printer-scanner-copiers in its class. It works hard to live up to that billing, with several strong positive features, but it is not without drawbacks. Let me explain.

The Canon MP250 has several positive features:

• Excellent print resolution
• Easily affordable
• Canon Quick Start Technology makes setting up as easy as A, B, C.
• Cartridges are fitted with integrated print heads which makes changing then a snap
• The paper output tray opens automatically once the print command has been activated and the rear paper feed can hold up to one hundred sheets

The Canon MP250 provides crisp, clear, easily read text, and color photographs that look great and if you use the mono printing setting you can get a lot of mileage from your black ink cartridge. You don’t expect a low cost printer to be able to output the sharp and almost grain free photos that the Canon MP250 provides but the MP250 performs much better than you would expect from a printer that costs so little to buy.

All of the above is made possible by the use of FINE technology (Full-Photolithography-Inkjet-Nozzle-Engineering) which utilizes a 2pl drop size from 4800 dpi cartridges to provide photo lab prints of a particularly high quality.
