Seattle, Washington is running over with Christmas spirit. Plan to make some memories with these fun holiday activities.
Candy Cane Lane
Candy Cane Lane is Seattle’s neighborhood light show. On Park Road Northeast, residents have been decorating their homes with glittering lights, jolly snowmen, and blinking reindeer since the 1940’s. Lights and holiday music run from 4:00 to 11:00 pm daily, starting after Thanksgiving and finishing on New Year’s Eve. They will stay on until midnight on Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
Westlake Tree Lighting Ceremony
This 20th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on November 28th, with pre-show entertainment starting at 4:30 pm. Local choirs and musical groups will perform, while getting ready for the tree lighting to take place. To commemorate Westlake Center’s 20th anniversary, the first 5,000 attendees will receive a complimentary seedling tree, courtesy of PEMCO insurance. Maybe it will turn into a future Christmas tree? The Center is located at Westlake Plaza at 400 Pine Street in Seattle.
